Karie oversees the operations of Cooper Regel’s Sherwood Park and Yellowknife offices and has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, defence, sexual and other abuse claims, Residential School Claims, personal injury matters, and other complex litigation processes. She has supported counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, Alberta, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories, including appellate matters at the Courts of Appeal, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Her work spans all phases of litigation, from file inception and discovery to trial preparation and in-court support. Karie is honoured to have assisted Indigenous clients on matters involving Residential Schools Class Actions, Relocation claims, and other significant litigation. She also serves as the firm’s Office and Litigation Manager and is a Commissioner of Oaths in both Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
