Jenna Joyce (J.J.) Broomfield is an Inuk, born and raised in North West River, Labrador and is a Nunatsiavut beneficiary. Prior to entering the field of law, Jenna’s background was in Indigenous Studies and Indigenous Governance. Jenna is called to the Bar in Alberta, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories practicing Civil Litigation (including Class Actions) with a primary focus on northern files. She is a managing member/volunteer of Inuit Edmontonmiut Working Group which focuses on connecting Inuit living in Edmonton. Jenna is a new parent and spends all her time, outside of work, enjoying time with her family and working in her community.
